Does the system work without a plan?
Yes. On Free, the Brain still detects people and vehicles, records 24/7, sends alerts, follows people across cameras and lets you watch live and rewind from anywhere. Paid plans add the cloud AI: written analysis, AI siren decisions, voice talk-down, daily summaries, the assistant and cloud backup.
What happens after the first month?
Every new system starts with its first month of AI Guard included. Then the plan you picked at checkout starts. We remind you before it does, and you can change or cancel any time from your account online. If you don't pick a plan, AI Guard continues after the first month; switch to Free any time and the system keeps running.
Is there a contract?
No contract. Switching from another company? Get up to $1,000 of their cancellation fee back with a 36-month plan. That plan comes only with the switch credit, if you choose it: see perimetereye.com/switch.
What's the difference between Basic and Standard?
Basic gives you a quick AI description of every person, vehicle and animal your cameras see. On Standard, the AI keeps watching every one of them for as long as they're on your property, so the moment activity escalates it's ready to defend it, with the AI voice warning and the AI siren. It also writes a full report of everything each visitor did while on camera, and your daily summary.
How long is the hardware warranty?
Two-year limited warranty on all PerimeterEye hardware, continuing while your plan is Standard or higher.
