What happens when PerimeterEye detects something suspicious?
The system escalates in policy-gated steps: PerimeterEye AI verifies the detection and assigns a threat level, a tracking spotlight aims at the target and follows it, an AI voice warning plays through the camera speakers, and if the threat persists the siren activates while you receive priority alerts with live video. You can watch, talk, or take manual control at any point.
Does the system still work if my internet goes out?
Yes. With no internet, detection, recording, searchlight tracking and the siren keep running on the Brain; only the AI voice warning waits until the connection is back.
Can PerimeterEye use my existing cameras?
In many cases, yes — that is what PerimeterEye Upgrade is, as low as $84.02/mo for Intelligence (18 monthly payments at 10% APR, $0 down, through Affirm or Klarna, subject to approval). Compatibility is confirmed before you order, and hardware is only added where coverage or response needs it.
Can the siren go off by accident?
The siren is policy-gated and engineered against misfires: safe-start ramping, a volume clamp, and a watchdog auto-stop. It only activates through policy-approved escalation or your explicit command, and you can stop it at any time from the wall panel or iOS app.
How long until the system is fully dialed in?
Protection is active from day one. Over the first days of the AI calibration period, the system learns household routines, familiar vehicles, and delivery patterns, so alerts get sharper and quieter as it settles in.
Does PerimeterEye guarantee that break-ins won't happen?
No. PerimeterEye is designed to detect activity earlier, deter it visibly, and give you real-time control and evidence — but no security system can guarantee prevention of every incident.
